World renowned Indian singer, musician, record producer, lyricist and music composer AR Rahman’s live concert in Pune was stopped by the police on Sunday when AR Rahman himself was on stage.
In this regard, a video has gone viral on Twitter in which it can be seen that after reaching the venue, the police are going on stage and demanding to stop the show.
After the incident, the Pune police issued a clarification statement saying that AR Rahman crossed the show’s 10 pm deadline, when the program was supposed to end by 10 pm.
It is said that AR Rahman was performing his hit track Chhiya Chhiya when the police arrived on stage.
It should be noted that the time of this concert was from 8 to 10 pm. According to DCP Zone II of Pune Police, Smratna Patel, AR Rahman while singing the last song could not guess that it was 10 o’clock, so the concert was going on and the police arrived at the venue and told him that the time as per the court orders. to be banned, to which they ended the concert.
However, AR Rahman today tweeted pictures from the Pune concert and promised his fans that he will be back soon.
He wrote that the people of Pune thank you for your love, enthusiasm and happiness last night. I will come back soon and sing for you.
