Lahore: Alleged inhumane torture of young housemaid sisters in Faisalabad has been revealed.
Two housemaid sisters, 12-year-old Iman Fatima and 8-year-old Zahra Owais, were brutally tortured in Madina Town police station.
Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sarah Ahmed took notice of the alleged incident of violence. According to the statement issued in this regard, Child Protection Bureau Faisalabad has taken into custody the maid sisters Iman Fatima and Zahra Owais who are victims of domestic violence. The abused housemaid sisters were subjected to torture by the owners with slaps, punches, knives, pipes and sticks.
The two housemaid sisters were often subjected to violence by their owners over trivial matters. There are marks of torture on the face, arm, back and other parts of the two working sisters. According to chairperson Sarah Ahmed, an FIR has been filed by the Child Protection Bureau Faisalabad against the owners who subjected them to torture.
He said that full medical treatment will be done for domestic help sisters who are victims of violence and full justice will be provided to them.
