ISIS's central leader Abu Hussain al-Quraishi killed in Syria, Turkish president confirms

ANKARA: ISIS’s central leader Abu Hussein al-Quraishi has been killed in Syria, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed.

According to the details, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said in a TV interview that the Turkish forces killed the ISIS leader during an operation.

He said, “Our intelligence agencies were looking for the ISIS leader for a long time. From now on, we will continue the fight against terrorist organizations without discrimination.”

He said that Turkey’s war against terrorism is playing an important role in the security of Europe, Europe is either not aware of it or does not want to be aware of it.

It should be noted that Al-Quraishi was named as the head of ISIS after the death of Abu al-Hassan Al-Hashemi Al-Quraishi, who was killed by the Syrian Free Army in Quwandar in October last year.
