Ankara: The process of overseas voting for the election of Turkey’s new ruler has begun, while Turkey will hold general elections on May 14.

According to the details, the general election is about to be held in Turkey, for which the process of overseas voting is going on, a thorny contest is expected between Tayyip Erdoğan and Kemal Koch Daru for the presidency.

Queues have formed at the Turkish embassies in London, Brussels and Berlin to vote, with overseas voting ending on May 9, after which the ballot boxes will go to Turkey.

According to Turkish media, overseas votes will also be counted along with voting in Turkey on election day.
