Wahari: During the alleged police encounter in Thingi police station area, 2 wanted inter-district dacoits were killed in serious incidents like murder and robbery.
According to Express News, the police spokesman says that the accused were being taken to Thangi area for recovery when the police encountered the accomplices of the accused near 159 WB. Direct firing was done to free the accused from the custody of the police, the accused Rizwan and Qurban were killed on the spot due to the alleged indiscriminate firing of their associates.
The accomplices of the accused threw away the bike and escaped by taking advantage of the darkness. The dead bandits were involved in three incidents of robbery, snatching a motorcycle and killing a citizen in a house in Laden last night. The accused were arrested by the police yesterday and were on remand.
According to the police spokesman, the motorcycle recovered from the accomplices of the accused was found to have been robbed in the incident of Lydon yesterday. The dead dacoits were wanted and recorded in cases of Lahore, Okara, Bahawalnagar and Wahari district.
