Former Chief Minister of Occupied Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti says that as soon as the process of G20 meeting has started, the series of arrests, torture and interrogation has also started in the valley.
He said that hundreds of Kashmiri youths have been put in jails and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is worse than Guantanamo Bay.
Talking to the media in Srinagar, former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said that because of the G20 summit, Kashmiri youths are being arrested and tortured.
He said that the occupying authorities have arrested hundreds of youths as soon as the preparations for the meeting started.
He said that people of the area are being harassed since the Poonch incident last week.
The former Chief Minister of Occupied Kashmir said that a person named Mukhtar Shah, who was arrested from Poonch, died in the custody of Indian forces. Indian forces are calling the death of Mukhtar Shah a suicide.
He demanded that there should be an investigation into the death of Mukhtar Shah.
