California: Technology company Metta has been introducing new features in WhatsApp frequently in recent days for the convenience of users. Continuing the same trend, the company is going to introduce a feature that will make chat transfer very easy for Android users.
According to the latest report of WhatsApp Beta Info, the company will soon provide a facility under which WhatsApp chat transfer between two Android devices can be done without Google Drive. This new feature is introduced in WhatsApp Android Beta version 2.23.9.19.
This feature aims to effectively eliminate the need for Google Drive chat backups from the chat transfer process.
If you are a beta tester of WhatsApp for Android then you can download this new update from Google Play Store.
There will be a chat transfer option in the settings menu within the app. After choosing this option, a QR code will appear which can be scanned by the new Android device to start the transfer process.
