They are amazed, how such a big roof is standing without pillars. This mosque is located in the main office of Jamaat-e-Islami in Mansurah, this mosque is unique and unique in many respects.

Its foundation stone was laid on October 26, 1973 by the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami and the thinker of Islam, Maulana Syed Abulala Ali Maududi. This mosque was completed in a period of about ten years. This mosque is a unique example of architecture.

In this mosque, Hafaz Yusuf Sudidi, the world-famous calligrapher, was blessed with the calligraphy of Quranic verses. The art of Hafiz Yusuf Sudidi has a unique place in the world regarding the art of writing and calligraphy. He recited Quranic verses with great devotion and used to say that Allah Ta’ala has blessed me that I have got the opportunity to worship idols and calligraphy in this mosque located in the center of Jamaat-e-Islami.

This mosque is divided into different parts. There is a capacity of about 900 worshipers in the main hall of the mosque, 2000 people can easily pray in the courtyard.

Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Hall has space for 500 worshipers, 2 big halls have been constructed for I’tikaf in this mosque, where people sit for I’tikaf during Ramadan, on normal days these two halls are used for prayers at Tar Baiti of Jamaat-e-Islami. . There is a capacity of 1000 worshipers in these two halls. If the number is large, prayers are also organized in the lawns and gardens adjacent to the mosque.

The number of worshipers increases greatly on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and Friday, since there is no other mosque in this area, so all the people of the area come to pray in this mosque, even though it is a Jamaat mosque. It is located inside the main office of Islami, but there is no restriction for worship, anyone can come here for prayer.

In this mosque, the Imam of the Kaaba has also performed the duties of leading the Fajr prayer. On that day, a large group of people came to Umad with the intention of offering prayers under the leadership of Imam Kaaba, but there is so much space next to the mosque that the worshipers did not face any kind of trouble. Appreciated the good management.

The great leaders of the world of Islam have had the privilege of offering prayers in this mosque.

Many Muslim world leaders have had the privilege of praying in this mosque, including the former president of Afghanistan Maulana Burhanuddin Rabbani, Gulbuddin Hekmat Yar, Rashid al-Ghamoshi, the leader of Baradar Malik Turk, and countless others from the world of Islam. Leaders are included.

Among the Pakistani leaders are late Shah Ahmed Nawarani, late Fazlur Rehman, late Abdul Rahman Ashar Fai, late Abdul Rahim Ashar Fai, late Sir Far Az Naimi, and almost every party and every party leader and head. People have offered prayers in this mosque, apart from Afghan leaders, Kashmiri and Palestinian leaders have also had the opportunity to offer prayers here.

All the leaders of Jamaat Salami in Mansurah head office perform their prayers in this mosque. Among these leaders, the Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Farid Ahmed Paracha, is prominent. Late Mazahiri was appointed as the first regular Khatib.

The late Maulana Gulzar Ahmad Mazahiri was very proud of this blessing, Maulana Gulzar Ahmad Mazahiri was a dervish person, whose entire life was spent in the preaching of Islam and Jamaat activities. Generally, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami also leads the Eid prayers. At that time, Hafiz Idris and Shaykh Al-Hadith Maulana Abdul Malik are performing the duties of Khatabat.

Compared to other mosques, Jamia Masjid Mansurah also has the uniqueness that religious programs continue here, but in this mosque there are no political activities, not even Jamaat-e-Islami party activities, only the propagation of religion and the reformation of Muslims. There are bait programs.

Women’s Mosque: There is a women’s mosque adjacent to the Jamia Masjid. This mosque has a capacity of about 4000 female worshipers, although this mosque is adjacent to the Jama Masjid, but the way for women is separate and all the affairs of this mosque are in charge of three heads, all the prayers are performed by the imam of the Jama Masjid. It is performed during the Imamat itself and for this purpose, a better sound system is arranged so that the clear voice of Khata idol and Imamat can reach three people.

The foundation stone of this women’s mosque was laid by the former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Manwar Hassan on April 7, 2012. On the same day, he also laid the foundation stone of Jamia Masjid Mansurah’s Itikaf Hall No. 1 and No. 2. This women’s mosque consists of four parts.

1. Basement, 2. Ground Floor, 3. First Floor, 4. There is a capacity of 1,000 worshipers on each floor, including the second floor, the roof, and the basement. A large number of women come to this mosque to offer congregational prayers. There is quite a rush on Fridays, especially on the occasion of Eid prayers, this three-story mosque is packed.

Janazah: Jamia Masjid Mansurah also has this uniqueness that the funeral prayers of all the people who died in this area are usually held in the ground adjacent to this mosque, the time of the funeral prayers is kept after the obligatory prayers. So that apart from the loved ones and relatives of the deceased, all the worshipers who offer prayers in Jamia Masjid can also participate.

In addition to other worshipers, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and leaders also participate in the funeral prayer of an ordinary person. If the weather is bad, the funeral prayer is offered in the mosque. Among the important leaders of the congregation, they teach and pray for forgiveness!!!
