Islamabad/Lahore: Public Services International has announced the launch of Pakistan’s first interactive documentary on Lady Health Workers.
The documentary will examine the struggle of lady health workers who are serving on the front lines every day against all kinds of diseases.
According to the release, the documentary will have different parts and the episode of ‘Mask Ke Peche: Pakistan’ will show the struggle of the lady health workers who are working in Pakistan.
In ‘Behind the Mask: Pakistan’, it is also shown how bad conditions lady health workers work, they are harassed and their stipend is very low.
According to the PSI, when the documentary was filmed, health risk allowances had been waived from health workers even though they were continuously serving people suffering from viral diseases.
