Twitter has locked the account of Indian news agency and channel

Social networking website Twitter has locked the account of the Indian news agency and channel.

According to Indian media, in the email sent by Twitter to the Indian news agency ANI, it is stated that the ANI account was blocked because the age requirement for creating a Twitter account was not met.

You must be over 13 years of age to create an account on Twitter.

After ANI, Twitter account of Indian channel NDTV was also locked.

ANI editor Smita Prakash says that Twitter has also withdrawn the gold tick given to the news agency.

Smita Prakash has appealed to Twitter to restore her account stating that she is not under 13 years of age.
