Karachi: Rain has started in different areas of Shahr Quaid, which will continue intermittently till Sunday night.
Clouds started raining in different areas of Karachi including Sirjani Town, University Road, Malir, New Nazimabad, North Karachi, Sharafabad.
After the onset of rain, the heat intensity decreased while the weather became pleasant.
According to the Meteorological Department, a new rain system has entered Karachi, after which there is a possibility of intermittent rain till Sunday night.
In view of the rain, measures have been directed to the concerned institutions while K Electric has appealed to the citizens to avoid touching electrical appliances during rain or with wet body.
Motorists have also been advised to ride their bikes with caution due to slippery conditions after the rains.
