Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi will not accept any census until 100% of the population of Karachi is counted
Karachi: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that at least half of Karachi’s population is uncounted.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, while holding a press conference in connection with the census at Noorhaq Institute, said that tomorrow Sunday at 4 pm on Shahrah Faisal, a “fraud census unapproved march” will be held, people, belonging to every language, every race and every party. Actively participate in the Wali Citizen March and get your count correct.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that the population of Karachi is three and a half million which is shown as one crore and 40 lakh, unless the population of Karachi is counted in 100% complete census then we will not accept any such census. The resources and representation in the provincial assembly should be corrected accordingly.
He said that in the past, the parties that took the mandate from Karachi sold the mandate of Karachi to the vaders and landlords and even now those parties are doing the same conspiracy, they get few ministries and sell the resources and mandate of Karachi.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that Asif Ali Zardari has never done any good deeds in Karachi, he has always sunk the ship of Karachi. If the seats are reduced from urban Sindh and more from the city, then the rule of the assembly vaders will end.
He said that PPP has reduced the population of Karachi by using civil agents to maintain the same Wadira Shahi, National Assembly and Provincial Assembly seats from Karachi are being reduced deliberately.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that we want our Sindh to develop and the city also to develop, the system of oppression should end from inside Sindh as well, the feudal lords and landlords want to enslave the city as well.
He said that the census of 2017 was also wrong and illegal which we had protested at that time as well.
Amir Jamaat said that the census staff was not trained and thousands of blocks were not counted. There are 32 thousand high-rise buildings in Karachi which were not counted. Not done.
He further said that whoever lives should be counted there, especially Pashtuns are not being counted in Karachi, at least half of Karachi’s population is not counted.
