The colorful ceremony of Bollywood’s biggest award Filmfare was held in Mumbai yesterday.
According to foreign media reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Gangu Bai Kathiawadi’ won 10 awards, including best actress and director, at this festival held in Filmnagar Mumbai.
The names of the artists who won the awards in this year’s Filmfare Awards 2023 are as follows:
Best Actor: Rajkummar Rao (Badhai Do)
Best Actress: Alia Bhatt (Gangu Bai Kathiawari)
Best Actor (Critics’ Choice): Sanjay Mishra (Vadh)
Best Actress (Critics’ Choice): Tabu (Bhool Bhaliyaan 2) and Bhumi Pednekar (Badhai Doo)
Best Film (Critics’ Choice): Budhai Do (Harsh Vardhan Kulkarani)
Best Director: Vishnu Vardhan (Shershah)
Best Actor in a Supporting Role: Anil Kapoor (Jag Jag Jive)
Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Shiba Chadha (Badhai Do)
Best Story: Awarded to Akshit Ghaldayal and Suman Adhikari for Budhai Do.
Best Dialogue: Awarded to Akshit Ghaldayal, Suman Adhikari and Harshvardhan Kulkarni for Budhai Do.
Best Screenplay: Awarded to Prakash Kapadia and Utkarshni Vashishtha for Gangubai Kathiyawari.
Best Debut Male: Ankash Gaidam for Jhand
Best Debut Female: Andrea Cavichosa for Anek
