Michigan: The child’s presence of mind saved the lives of 66 students when the bus driver passed out.
According to foreign media, a female bus driver suddenly fainted while driving in the American state of Michigan. The Class 7 student in the bus, who immediately realized the situation, showed the presence of mind and managed to take over the steering wheel and bring the bus to the side of the road safely after the driver passed out.
Officials say there were 66 students on the bus. The bus driver had informed the control room about his unwellness. The bus was about to enter the oncoming traffic when the driver fell unconscious, but the boy’s bravery saved him from a major accident. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
After the video of the camera installed inside the bus came out, the school organized a special function for the child and the entire school saluted the child.
