According to the report, the price of potato increased by 8.22%, flour by 2.65%, chicken by 1.75%, rice by 1.01%, plain bread by 1.13% and jaggery by 1.23%, while tomato by 19.20%, onion by 1.01%, 40%, sugar 1.19%, LPG 1.09%, lentils 0.98% and mustard oil 0.39% cheaper.

According to the statistics of the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the rate of inflation in the country during the week ending April 27 in terms of the Sensitive Price Index (SPI) was 46.821 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the statistics, during the recent week, the inflation rate was 41.54% for the group having income up to 17 thousand 732 rupees per month on an annual basis, the group having income from 17 thousand 733 rupees to 22 thousand 888 rupees per month.
