Tehran: In Iran, the video of the killing of Ayatollah Abbas Soleimani, a special confidant of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and a powerful Shia cleric, has gone viral on social media.
According to the international news organization, the former representative of the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, member of the country’s most powerful Council of Experts and leading religious leader Abbas Ali Soleimani was killed in an attack.
The assailant was arrested on the spot, but his identity has not been revealed and the motive for the murder has not yet been determined. The investigation in this regard is still in the initial stages.
On the other hand, Iran’s semi-official news agency ‘Tasnim’ has shared the CCT footage of a bank in which scenes of the killing of Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani have been shown.
In the video, it can be seen that the security guard of the bank goes around the religious leader with weapons and takes aim from behind.
Ayatollah Abbas Soleimani was shot by the security guard at such a close range that he died on the spot.

The investigation so far has also revealed that the security guard who opened fire did not know that the person he was killing was religious leader Ayatollah Abbas Soleimani.
Investigators told the media that the investigation conducted so far has also revealed that the incident was not a matter of security or terrorism, but the case is being investigated from all aspects including foreign conspiracy.
