Islamabad: The judge hearing the Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case against Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has changed.
A new judge was appointed to hear the Tosha Khana case. Toshakhana case will now be heard by Additional Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar.
Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal has been transferred to Sessions Division West.
On the other hand, NAB filed a reply in the Islamabad High Court against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the Tosha Khana case. NAB submitted a 12-page reply in the High Court.
NAB requested to dismiss the application of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. According to NAB, the petitioners are avoiding responding to the NAB call-up notices, seeking information from the petitioners through call-up notices and questionnaires. Call-up notices were issued as per legal requirements, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi neither responded nor joined the NAB inquiry.
NAB requested that the petition of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi is inadmissible and should be dismissed.
According to NAB, Imran Khan did not even appear before NAB on the notice of summons, action will be taken against Imran Khan as per the law because Imran Khan deliberately wants to postpone the matter. It cannot be said, former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife kept 58 gifts during their four-year rule.
