Lahore: An 18-year-old girl who ran away from home and got married was killed in the name of honor.
The incident of honor killing took place in the limits of Ghaziabad police station. According to the police, Alisha ran away from home a few months ago and got married.
A few days ago, the family members brought Alisha home after reconciliation. The girl’s uncles entered the house and opened fire and killed Alisha.
The girl’s father filed a case against the brothers. Police said legal action is being taken against Alisha’s uncles on the father’s request, but the incident is suspicious and will be investigated from all angles.
