Peshawar: The judicial remand of the judge arrested in the murder case of lawyer Abdul Latif Afridi was approved. The court sent the accused Abdul Majid Afridi to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
The anti-terrorism court in Peshawar heard the murder case of former president Supreme Court Bar Association Abdul Latif Afridi, in which civil judge Abdul Majid Afridi appeared in the case.
The court sent the accused Abdul Majid Afridi to jail on 14-day judicial remand. According to the police, the accused Abdul Majid Afridi has been nominated under section 164 of the plaintiff’s case. A case has been registered against the accused under section 109.
Abdul Latif Afridi Advocate was murdered inside the Peshawar High Court bar room on January 16. Adnan Afridi, the main accused, was detained at the scene. 3 other named facilitator accused in the incident Zakir, Fawad and Adil Advocate are released on bail while the accused Civil Judge Abdul Majid Afridi has himself arrested after being nominated.
