The mastermind of the attack on Kabul Airport, the capital of Afghanistan, was killed by the Taliban.

In this regard, White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby has said that the ISIS leader who planned the Kabul Airport attack was killed by the Taliban.

John Kirby says that it has been made clear to the Taliban not to allow Afghanistan to become a safe haven for terrorists.

US officials say that the ISIS commander who masterminded the Kabul attack was killed in recent weeks, which took time to confirm his death.

According to American media, authorities are refusing to reveal the identity of the slain ISIS commander.

It should be noted that during the withdrawal of the American army in August 2021, there was a suicide attack on Kabul Airport in which 170 civilians including 13 American soldiers were killed.
