Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted an operation against terrorists in Khyber district (Tirah) in which two terrorists were killed.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation against terrorists in Tirah district of Khyber on April 25, 2023. Heavy firing took place between the security forces and the terrorists.
The security forces carried out effective action, killed two terrorists and injured four others and recovered a large amount of arms and ammunition. However, during the fierce exchange of fire, Peshawar resident Sepoy Basit Ali Umar 24 years and Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah fought with Jawanmardi and drank the cup of martyrdom.
ISPR says that the search operation of the security forces is going on in the area to bring the terrorists to justice, the sacrifices of the forces strengthen our determination to root out the scourge of terrorism.
