Famous Indian singer Sean Mukherjee has given a strong reply to Hindus who criticized his post regarding Eid greetings to Muslims.
Singer Shaun Mukherjee shared a post on Instagram on the occasion of Meeti Eid, in which he was wearing a hat and raised his hands in prayer.
Singer Shaan was heavily criticized by extremist Hindus for this post.
Extremist Hindu users in their negative comments said that Shaan should be ashamed of himself for celebrating Eid by wearing a hat and looking like a Muslim while being a Hindu.
Reacting to these negative comments, Shaan took a dig at the users who criticized him in an Instagram live video on the day of Eid itself.
Shaan said that he had gone to the Golden Temple in the past, he had dressed up as a Sikh, but no Hindu said anything at that time, when he congratulated the Muslims on Eid, there was so much trouble.
Shaan said that most of his friends are Muslims, he has not felt any difference till today, but he is sorry to see the direction India has taken today.
He said that if we want to move forward, we will have to change our thinking, India cannot move forward with such thinking.
Shan Mukherjee said that I am a Hindu and I will not change my mind because I know that my thinking and direction is right.
