According to Zeenat Aman, his family wanted to leave India but then he was cast in Dev Anand’s 1971 film Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
He said that Dev Anand stopped him and his family from going out of Mumbai on the occasion of the film’s release.
According to Zeenat Aman, it is Dev Anand who made her a star, due to which she got the opportunity to act in this film.
He said that my mother and I could not wait that long, but Dev Anand repeatedly convinced us to complete and release the film.

She said that in the 1970s she was very worried about her career and was almost ready to move to Malta with her mother and stepfather.
According to Zeenat Aman, I was then cast in Hare Rama Hare Krishna, and when the film was released, it was a hit at the box office and from there a new era of my career began.
