Islamabad: China announced the assurance of continued unconditional support to Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Peng Chunxu, met Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar at the Finance Division on Tuesday.
According to the ongoing statement, Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar highlighted the deep historical bilateral relations between China and Pakistan. Appreciating China’s support for Pakistan, he emphasized the need to deepen bilateral relations in the economic, trade and financial sectors.
Peng Chinxu congratulated the people of Pakistan and the Finance Minister on Eid. He appreciated the close and common friendly relations between the two countries. He assured the finance minister of the continued support of the Chinese government to the people of Pakistan.
Both sides of the declaration discussed ways to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries and the ongoing cooperation in various fields. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the efforts of Charge d’Affaires Peng Chunxu for all the support Pakistan received from the Chinese leadership.
