Quetta: An alert was issued to the fishermen in view of the threat of flooding in the sea of Balochistan.
According to the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Center (JMICC), from April 25 to 26, there is a possibility of flooding in the sea due to strong winds in the coastal areas of Balochistan.
The Fisheries Department of Balochistan has also instructed the fishermen to be alert, saying that there is a risk of high flood in the sea of Gwadar. Assistant Director Fisheries Pasni and Ormara have issued instructions.
In the alert issued by JMICC, fishermen should avoid going into deep sea from April 25 to 26 and secure their boats, engines, nets and other fishing equipment. Timely precautions should be taken to avoid any kind of damages and problems.
