Afghan Foreign Minister plans to visit Pakistan after Eid

LAHORE: Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has expressed his intention to visit Pakistan after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haque had a telephone conversation with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in which the two leaders discussed the overall political situation in the region.

Expressing good wishes and prayers for Afghanistan, Sirajul Haque said that both countries have to work together to establish peace and development, the people of both countries are united and their future is brilliant.

On this, Amir Khan Muttaqi thanked the Amir Jamaat-e-Islami and said that he plans to visit Pakistan after Eid. He said that it is hoped that the relations between the two countries will be strengthened after the visit to Pakistan.
