Karachi: Due to the fire at Korangi police station, dozens of motorcycles and machinery of the case property parked in the premises were burnt to ashes.

According to the details, due to the negligence of the police, more than 100 motorcycles of the case property in the premises of Korangi police station caught fire, which intensified as soon as they saw it. As soon as the fire was reported, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a fierce struggle.

In this regard, Zafar Khan, officer of Korangi Fire Station, said that the fire caused by the motorcycles placed on top of each other in the Korangi police station premises was completely extinguished after an hour of hard struggle, while the fire brigade Apart from other vehicles and motorcycles present there, the staff of the police station also saved the warehouse and the building from burning.

He said that there were more than 100 motorcycles in the premises of the police station while more than 20 seized gutka making machines were kept there. Dozens of motorcycles and gutka making machines were gutted due to the fire.

Korangi police station duty officer ASI Azhar Khan said that fortunately there was no loss of life while the cause of the fire could not be determined immediately, the police is conducting further investigation in this regard.
