Saudi Arabia, UAE confirmed Pakistan's $3 billion financing to IMF

All conditions of staff level agreement between Pakistan and IMF have been fulfilled, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar

Islamabad: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have informed the IMF about the financing of 3 billion dollars to Pakistan.

Ishaq Dar said that Saudi Arabia has given 2 billion dollars to Pakistan while UAE has confirmed giving 1 billion dollars to Pakistan.

He said that all the conditions of the staff level agreement between Pakistan and the IMF have been fulfilled, it is hoped that the IMF staff level agreement will be approved by the executive board soon.

It should be noted that the IMF demanded that the friendly countries inform Pakistan about the provision of external funding.
