Beijing: The Chinese company claims to have created the world’s dirtiest condensed battery, saying that it is not only twice as powerful as a Tesla battery, but it can also be enough to fly passenger planes, let alone cars.
The head of the famous Chinese company CATL has officially announced that the production of small but dirty batteries with an energy of 500 kilowatt hours per kilogram has started, which is twice the energy of the Tesla Model Y battery. Above all, this battery is safe for flight which can even fly passenger planes.
This battery is also made of lithium which holds a new record of 500 Wh/kg. Tesla’s Y battery, on the other hand, has 4,680 battery cells with only 244 watt-hours of energy.
Although the details are not given. But the CEO of the company has confirmed that the cathode and anode have been replaced in a slightly better way. The new manufacturing process has been completely changed by designing electrodes at the micron level using condensed materials that conduct electricity rapidly. This has helped a lot in charging, making the battery stable and reliable.
The company also claims that it charges and discharges optimally. But above all its safety standards are kept at the level of air operations. In this way, this battery can be installed in passenger planes as well.
