Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry says that PDM made everything from the army to the judiciary controversial to stay in power.
In a statement on Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said that PDM wants to stay in power by making all institutions controversial. These parties are campaigning against the Supreme Court to avoid elections. Under which law should the Supreme Court order that elections cannot be held?
Fawad Chaudhry further said that if the orders of the Supreme Court are not implemented, the only case will be to follow the Sri Lankan model. People should not fear their rights. The people of Pakistan will reject the elite’s desire to make Pakistan Burma or North Korea.
Fawad Chaudhry said that when the audio of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Prime Minister’s House were released, we repeatedly requested the Supreme Court that this series is disastrous. If the office of the Prime Minister of the country is so insecure that every meeting is being recorded there, who else will be safe? In which civilized country do agencies have this role?
He said that this petition has not been filed in the Supreme Court even after months, now judges, politicians, government employees and even housewives are victims of this third class thinking and no one can do anything. Under the Fair Trial Act, such illegal phone tapping is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
