Good news for the Sudanese people suffering from #sudan war

Khartoum: After a week of bloodshed, the Sudanese people got a big relief.

According to foreign media reports, paramilitary forces in Sudan have agreed on a better hour of ceasefire on Eid.

The RSF announced that they have agreed to a ceasefire for better hours on the eve of Eid so that people can celebrate the Eid festival with peace of mind.

According to a statement released by RSF, the purpose of the ceasefire is to provide a humanitarian corridor through which citizens can move from one place to another and meet their loved ones.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres also appealed to the warring groups for a ceasefire so that civilians can have safe passage.

A coalition of civil groups said they had proposed a three-day ceasefire to the rival sides and received a positive response. “We welcome the positive stance of the leadership of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the RSF,” the group said.

It should be noted that more than 400 people have been killed so far in the power struggle between Sudan’s army chief, General Abdul Fattah al-Barhan, and RSF leader, General Muhammad Hamdan Daqloo.

Remember that thousands of civilians have left their homes since the start of the war. They have taken refuge in villages and forests along the border with neighboring Chad.

On the other hand, thousands of people in the capital Khartoum are also trapped in their homes without electricity and water.
