Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, due to the absence of the moon today in most countries of the world.
The Shawwal moon was not sighted in Malaysia and Singapore. The Malaysian government and Majlis Ulema-e-Islam Singapore have announced that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22.
Apart from this, it has been officially announced that the Shawwal moon will not be seen in Japan, Philippines, Thailand and Australia.
The moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and Canada and Muslims in these countries will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday, April 21.
