Today, Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with religious enthusiasm in 15 countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
An event was held in Abu Dhabi on the occasion of Chand Raat organized by the Pakistani Embassy and the Pakistani community.
The event, held at the Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi, showcased the colors of Pakistani culture, stalls of traditional clothing, jewellery, food and mehndi were set up.
Pakistani Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi led the event, where he welcomed community members to the Pakistani embassy and entertained guests with Pakistani cuisine, music, handicrafts and traditional folk dances.
Speaking at the event, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said, “We should celebrate the joy of Eid-ul-Fitr with unity and brotherhood and also help all those Pakistanis who are facing difficulties at this time.”
Apart from this, a 3-day Show Stop Weekend is being organized in the United Arab Emirates at the end of Ramadan and the sighting of the Shawwal moon, where a large number of people will be able to enjoy the beautiful sight of fireworks at various locations.
