Muslim League-N's decision not to give ticket to any candidate for Punjab election

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-N has decided not to give ticket to any candidate for general elections in Punjab.

According to party sources, the leadership has decided that the nomination papers of the League candidates will not be withdrawn for now. The party leadership says that the position of Muslim League-N regarding May 14 elections is very clear.

The League leadership has decided that the application of any candidate’s ticket and lion sign will not be submitted to the Election Commission. It should be noted that according to the election schedule, the Election Commission has to allot party symbols to the candidates today.

Meanwhile, League leader Atta Tarar says that the Muslim League-N has not boycotted the Punjab election. Tickets have not been issued to the candidates. Our position in the Supreme Court is that we do not accept the May 14 election. Boycott happens when candidates withdraw papers.
