Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf issued tickets to the candidates for the Punjab election.
According to Express News, the PTI chairman approved the issuance of tickets to the candidates after conducting interviews, after which tickets were issued to the candidates for 297 seats of the Punjab Assembly.
PTI has formed appeal committees in all four districts of Punjab, on which revisional appeals can be filed.
After considering the appeal filed for any seat, Imran Khan will take the final decision on the candidate.
According to sources Tehreek-e-Insaf, two former chief ministers, Usman Buzdar and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Former Deputy Speaker Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Speaker Punjab Assembly Sabtain Khan, Former Minister Taimur Malik, Khayal Castro, Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan and others Party tickets have also been issued to former minister Mian Aslam Iqbal and Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid.
According to sources Tickets signed by Chairman Imran Khan have been issued to the district presidents of the party, Imran Khan will release the list of candidates at 12 noon which will also be released on the PTI website Insaaf.pk.
According to Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab spokesperson Musrat Jamshed Cheema Each District President shall fill in the names of the ticket holders of his district and submit them to the office of the Election Commission within the time given by the Election Commission. After that, the full election campaign will begin.
