Karachi: In District Central, untrained policemen were deployed on security duty with SMGs without bullets.
A video of Gulberg police officers deputing untrained personnel on security duty has gone viral on social media, in which the officer in a police mobile made a shocking revelation that he was untrained and was assigned to security duty. The magazine of the Wally SMG is empty and there are no bullets in it.
In the video, the policeman also removed the magazine from his SMG, which did not contain any bullets. The policeman said that they are untrained recruits of 480 badge and if there is an encounter during security duty, our lives will be lost. It will happen, there are no bullets in our weapons, where will we be able to fight, many officials in the police station run away after showing up and we are being forced to do duty for 12, 12 hours.
After the video of the untrained police personnel went viral on social media, finally DIG West Fida Hussain Mastoi also had to take notice and he also suspended 2 constables Nazir and Zeeshan along with Head Inspector Gulberg Police Station ASI Mujahid. While departmental action has also been issued against the three.
