Paris: French climber Alain Robert, also known as the “French Spiderman”, scaled a skyscraper in the capital to protest against the government’s new pension law.
According to international media reports, Alain Robert climbed a 38-story skyscraper in Paris in support of the French President Emmanuel Macron’s pension law.
“I’m here to show my support for those who are against the pension law that raises the retirement age,” Robert told media before climbing the 492-foot-tall building in Paris’s La Defense business district.
The climber also said that I am here to tell (President) Emmanuel Macron that those who went up without a safety net should now return to the ground.
It should be noted that Robert has climbed more than 150 tall buildings around the world, including the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world.
