One person died in a mysterious fire in the office of a local newspaper in Faizabad area of Islamabad.
The police declared the case suspicious and started investigation as an attempt to cover up the murder.
The unknown person has been badly burnt, for the identification of which help will be taken from NADRA, the newspaper management has called the matter suspicious and demanded an investigation.
Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that fire tenders and other rescue teams were dispatched to the spot after receiving a report of a fire in the office of a local newspaper early in the morning due to unknown reasons.
After the fire fighting, a person was badly burned to death in the newspaper office, on which the police were called immediately.
Police sources said that apparently, it seems that the unknown accused has tried to turn the murder into an accident by setting fire to the victim after torturing him to death, the body cannot be identified.
Help will be taken from NADRA to identify the body, the newspaper management has applied to the police station and has taken a stand that the unknown person has tried to trap the victim by locking the victim in the office of the newspaper and setting it on fire, the police said. After receiving the request, investigation has been started.
