Islamabad: The accused was shot dead in police custody in District and Sessions Courts Islamabad while the police arrested the killer.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, the incident took place near the lawyers’ chamber where the Coral police had brought the accused in the murder case 680/21 to appear.
The police were bringing the accused back from the court after their appearance, when the accused Salman suddenly opened fire, killing the detained accused Zwar Ali on the spot.
The person who fired at the accused was arrested by the police from the scene of the murder, the accused was transferred to Bakshi Khana. The police say that there was a relationship between the killer and the victim and the victim was a resident of Charsadda.

Taking notice of the incident, IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan ordered the CPO Security to inquire about the incident and submit a report. Strict action will be taken against the negligence of police employees in the incident.
