The Election Commission's order of recounting in six Union Councils in Karachi was annulled

The Islamabad High Court annulled the Election Commission’s order of recount in six union councils in Karachi.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of Islamabad High Court pronounced the decision on Jamaat-e-Islami’s request to stop the recount.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan of the Islamabad High Court remarked that the reasons for annulling the order of the Election Commission will be given in a detailed decision.

Jamaat-e-Islami lawyers Qaiser Imam and Hasan Javed Shorush while Election Commission officials and lawyers of other candidates appeared in the court.
