According to the United Nations State of World Population report, India will become the most populous country by the middle of this year.
According to the report, after another 3 million population, India’s population will be 1.4286 billion and thus India will overtake China as the most populous country.
According to the United Nations State of World Population report, India has not had a census since 2011, due to which recent population data is not available.
The report also states that the world population will reach 8.045 billion by the middle of 2023.
