The popular dance number rap song ‘Lingi Dance’ filmed in the popular 2013 Bollywood film ‘Chennai Express’ was initially disliked by Shahrukh Khan.
According to Indian media reports, famous rapper Honey Singh has revealed that Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan took three weeks to approve the famous song ‘Lingi Dance’ after which the song turned out to be a super hit song of the film.
It should be noted that even before the release of the film ‘Chennai Express’, the rap song ‘Lingi Dance’ had raised the flags of popularity.
According to Honey Singh, he composed the song in 30 minutes and sent it to the film’s producers, but Shah Rukh Khan’s permission was required to include the song in the film and it took three weeks for his approval.
He said that he was very happy to work with Shah Rukh Khan and he is also grateful to the actor for getting the opportunity to work, but when Shah Rukh Khan did not like the said song, he told him clearly that If they want to sing, it’s fine, if they don’t, I will release it as a single, it will be a hit.’
Despite King Khan’s delay, the song got a place in the film and became the most successful song of the film and Shahrukh’s fans loved the song immensely.
