Free hearse service started in Sindh including Karachi

Karachi: As promised, Sindh Health Department has started free hearse service across Sindh.

1122 hearse service organized by Sindh Health Department has been inaugurated at DJ Sports Complex, Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS) will operate this service.

In this regard, Minister of Health and Population Welfare of Sindh Dr. Ghazra Fazal Pechuho said that we have inaugurated 25 vehicles, 8 hearses will be given in Karachi, while five will be given to other districts including Hyderabad, while all the remaining hearses will be given to the district head. There will be 330 ambulances in the quarter, Inshallah, soon 1122, people were facing problems, people used to take private services, which increased their financial burden, 1122 hearse service and ambulance free service. will provide, its system will work exactly like 1122 ambulance,

He said that proper standards and SOPs have been established to manage the supply of these hearses. This service will be provided free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis to those who cannot afford to transport the dead of their loved ones.

He said that dead bodies will be transported from any hospital through mortuary service. This service will initially be for district transportation only. However, requests from other districts will be considered after some verification and availability of hearses. This service will be available across Sindh by dialing 1122 under the guidance of Sindh Integrated Emergency and Health Services (SIEHS) and Sindh Health Department. Classified and fully equipped ambulances and hearse service with qualified staff will serve the community.

The health minister further said that the doctors who were domiciled in the districts tried to be transferred there, so that the shortage of doctors in these districts of Sindh could be met, some doctors blackmailed us, but the hospital was not closed.
