Mumbai: India’s leading rapper Honey Singh has revealed that Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan took three weeks to approve the popular song ‘Lingi Dance’.
The song ‘Lingi Dance’ was filmed in the 2013 film ‘Chennai Express’ and the song set new popularity records upon its release.
According to Honey Singh, he composed the song in 30 minutes and sent it to the film producers, but Shah Rukh Khan’s permission was needed to include the song in the film and it took three weeks for his approval.
Despite King Khan’s delay, the song got a place in the film and became the most successful song of the film and Shahrukh’s fans loved the song immensely.
Honey Singh is known in the industry for his top chart songs and he said that he was very happy to work with Shah Rukh Khan and is grateful to the actor for giving him this opportunity.
