A treasure trove of vitamin C

Lemon is rich in vitamin C and thus protects our body from oxidative stress and protects against many diseases including cancer. Countless scientific studies have been conducted on lemons in which it has also been shown to be beneficial for the heart.

A study found that consuming 24 grams of lemon water daily for a month can lower blood cholesterol levels. It is this cholesterol that causes stroke and heart disease by thickening the blood.

The stearic acid in lemons on the one hand increases urine and increases its pH. In both these cases, the possibility of kidney stone formation is reduced. This is scientifically proven.

If you drink half a cup or 125 ml of lemon juice daily or mix it with water to make lemon water, you get enough stearic acid to prevent the growth of kidney stones.

Interestingly, this process does not cause many harmful effects on the body.

Keep cancer at bay

The most recent benefit of lemon from modern research is that it has an extraordinary ability to prevent cancer. Several studies and meta-surveys have previously shown that people who regularly consume lemons have lower rates of cancer.

The reason is that two compounds called limonene and naringenin have been shown to be effective against cancer and repel the invasion of many types of cancer.
