A request to set contempt of court case pending against Imran Khan for many months

The Supreme Court adjourned the hearing for a week, but despite the passage of five months, the case was not rescheduled.

Islamabad: The government has requested the Supreme Court to hear the contempt of court case against Imran Khan soon.

The federal government became active in the case of PTI leaders entering the Red Zone in violation of the Supreme Court order.

The federal government filed a request for early hearing in the contempt of court case against Imran Khan.

In the petition, the government requested the Supreme Court to fix the contempt of court case against Imran Khan on April 26. The last hearing of the case was held on December 2, 2022.

The government took a stand in the petition that the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing for a week, but despite the passage of five months, the case was not rescheduled.
