Lahore: All-rounder Imad Wasim called national cricket team captain Babar Azam ‘the best player in the world’.
Imad Wasim made these remarks about the Pakistan captain after his brilliant century innings against New Zealand in the second T20I on Saturday.
In the second T20 match, the national captain played a smoky innings of 101 runs off 58 balls at a strike rate of 174.13. His innings included 11 fours and three sixes.
Talking to Babar Azam after the match, Imad Wasim said that I believe he is the best player in the world right now.
Imad Wasim said, “I have seen many innings but in my opinion this innings was his best, especially the way he carried on with three wickets down was fantastic.” There is no doubt that he is the best player in the world.”

On this occasion, Babar Azam expressed happiness on completing his third century in T20 International matches and said that I am very happy to perform in this match. I had two good partnerships, and then our bowlers played well and played a major role in winning the match.
