Karachi: Rizvia Police arrested an accused involved in the kidnapping of a young man red-handed and recovered the abducted young man while other accused are absconding and raids are being conducted to arrest them.
On April 13, Mashal son of Muhammad Ayaznami was abducted from a hotel near Zeeshan Park within the limits of Rizvia police station.
According to the police, the kidnapped Mashal was called by his friend Junaid for a meeting regarding work at the tea hotel. When Mashal reached the hotel, Junaid’s friend Ahmed was also there, whom the kidnapped Mashal had met before.
After a while, a Weasel car stopped with the kidnappers who kidnapped Mashal. Meanwhile, Ahmed who was at the hotel took the mobile phones from Mashal and Osama and joined the kidnappers while the accused also wanted to kidnap Junaid. pretended to and made him ride another bike
2 kidnappers in the car used police uniforms to cheat, the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 10 lakhs from Mishal’s family and a deal was settled for 1 lakh rupees.
The kidnappers were called to collect the ransom money and while receiving the ransom money, Rizvia police arrested an accused Sajid Ali son of Bashir Ahmed and recovered the ransom amount of fifty thousand rupees from his possession and the kidnapped Mashal was recovered. Ahmed and Junaid have admitted their involvement in the abduction, while the suspects are Junaid, Ahmed and other fugitives who are being raided for their arrest.
A case has been registered against the arrested accused and the non-arrested accused and investigation has been started.
