Karachi: Pakistan showbiz actor Gauhar Rasheed requested to close all the zoos in Pakistan.
Mirza Gohar Rasheed has requested the concerned authorities to close the zoo in Pakistan due to the deteriorating condition of Noor Jahan, the elephant in Karachi zoo.
He wrote in his tweet that ‘I humbly request the authorities to close all the zoos in Pakistan, this is not fun, it is sad to see that the 17-year-old African elephant Noor Jahan was killed in the zoo in Karachi. How are you keeping it?
Gohar Rasheed further said that ‘if we cannot treat them well, at least give them their freedom.’
It may be recalled that Noor Jahan, the sick elephant of Karachi Zoo, has been suffering from the worst physical problems for the past 3 months, her muscles have shrunk and her back is completely bent.

On Thursday, 17-year-old Alil Hathani Noorjahan went down to play in her jungle pond but could not get out and remained there for several hours.
