Famous Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has decided to act in the upcoming movie of filmmaker Hansal Mehta after being inspired by a famous character of famous Hollywood actress Kate Winslet.
Kareena Kapoor has been inspired by Kate Winslet’s role as a detective in the popular series ‘Mayor of East Town’ to work on her new film, which is likely to be titled ‘Buckingham Murders’.
In an interview with popular magazine Variety, she said that she will be playing the role of a mother and a detective in Hansal Mehta’s upcoming project, who has to investigate a murder case in a small town in Buckinghamshire.
“I loved the series ‘Mayor of East Town’ and when Hansal Mehta approached me, I told him that I wanted to play such a role. So, we approached Kate Winslet’s detective cop in the new project,” he said. Added a similar character and I am doing such a project for the first time.
It should be noted that Kate Winslet has also won the title of ‘Outstanding Lead Actress’ for her outstanding performance as detective Mayor Sheehan in the series ‘Mayor of East Town’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently working on several projects, her next film is a thriller film directed by Sujoy Ghosh based on the book ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’.
The upcoming new projects of the actress include the comedy film The Crew, in which actresses Tabu and Kriti Sanon will also be seen in action.
